Submission Guidelines for Mega Journal of Medicine

To ensure that your manuscript meets the journal’s standards, please follow the guidelines below carefully:

Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in document or PDF format only.
  • Please ensure all sections are included as described below.

Required Manuscript Sections:

  1. Cover Letter
    The cover letter should include a brief introduction of the manuscript, its significance, and why it should be considered for publication in Mega Journal of Medicine.

  2. Title Page

    • Title of the article.
    • Full names, affiliations, and contact information of all authors.
    • Corresponding author’s name, email, and affiliation.
  3. Abstract

    • A concise summary (150-250 words) of the article, highlighting key points.
    • Note: Tables, figures, and reference numbers should not be included in the abstract.
  4. Introduction

    • An introduction that clearly states the research question and its relevance.
  5. Materials and Methods

    • A detailed description of the research materials, methodology, and techniques used in the study.
  6. Results

    • Present the results of the study, including any statistical analyses.
  7. Discussion

    • Interpret the findings, compare them to previous work, and discuss their implications.
  8. Conclusion

    • A brief conclusion summarizing the key points of the article and its broader implications.
  9. Acknowledgements and Funding

    • Acknowledge any financial support, contributors, or assistance that aided the study.
  10. Figures, Tables, and Graphs

    • Submit figures in JPEG, JPG, or PNG formats only.
    • Submit tables in text format (not image format).
    • Ensure all figures and tables are referred to in the manuscript.
  11. References

    • Provide a complete list of all references cited in the article, formatted according to the journal’s reference style.

Formatting Guidelines

Research (Original) Articles:

  • Word limit: 2500-3500 words.
  • No limit on Figures, Tables, and References.

Review Articles:

  • Word limit: 3000-4000 words.
  • No limit on Figures, Tables, and References.

Case Reports/Series/Blogs/Videos:

  • Word limit: 1000-2500 words.
  • No limit on Figures, Tables, and References.

Clinical Images:

  • Word limit: 250-750 words.
  • No limit on Figures, Tables, and References.

Editorials:

  • Word limit: 900-1300 words.
  • No limit on Figures, Tables, and References.

Letters to the Editors:

  • Word limit: 300-500 words.
  • No limit on Figures, Tables, and References.

Note: There is no strict word limit for submission types such as original research, review articles, clinical studies, technical notes, etc. However, word count limits are given for reference. Manuscripts may exceed these word counts depending on the content.


Plagiarism and Duplication Policy

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Authors should ensure their work is original, and if references or previous works are used, proper citations should be provided.
  • All manuscripts will be scanned for plagiarism, and any instances of potential plagiarism will result in immediate rejection or revision requests.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • APC for articles accepted for publication is between 1800-3600 USD depending on the type of article and the country of origin. The APC is charged to cover the costs of publication, peer review, and digitization.
  • No other additional charges (e.g., submission, page, or color charges) are imposed.
  • Once an article is accepted, the APC is due and non-refundable.

Manuscript Withdrawal Charges

  • Authors can request the withdrawal of a manuscript after submission. However, if the manuscript has entered the review or publication process, withdrawal charges will apply.
  • The corresponding author must submit a formal letter to the editorial office requesting withdrawal.
  • The withdrawal penalty will be declared by the journal and must be paid in full.

Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be provided once an article is accepted for publication, as the APC is used to cover the costs of publication, peer review, and other services associated with making the article open access.

Publication Ethics

The Mega Journal of Medicine follows best practices for publication ethics, ensuring high-quality, ethical standards in all aspects of the publication process:

  • Review Process: Manuscripts are reviewed impartially, without bias related to the authors’ gender, nationality, or other characteristics.
  • Confidentiality: All manuscripts and related data are kept confidential.
  • Peer Review: The peer review process is transparent and conducted by experts in the field.

Reprints

  • Reprints will be provided upon request within 10-20 days of the publication of the article.
