Author Submission Guidelines
The Mega Journal of Medicine welcomes manuscript submissions from researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals worldwide who wish to share valuable scientific findings and contribute to improving medical knowledge. All submissions must be prepared in clear, professional English and follow international standards of ethical and scholarly publishing. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts that present reliable data, clinical relevance, solid methodology, and meaningful conclusions that can support advancements in healthcare practice.
Before submitting, authors should ensure that their manuscripts are original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal. The journal maintains a strict policy against duplicate publication, salami slicing, plagiarism, and data manipulation. All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening as an initial quality check. Submissions that do not meet ethical and originality requirements will be returned without review. Authors retain full responsibility for the accuracy of their research, the integrity of their data, and the authenticity of all included materials.
Every manuscript should be prepared as a single consolidated file, preferably in Microsoft Word format, containing the title, authors and affiliations, abstract, keywords, full text, figures, tables, references, and any supplementary information. Authors should ensure that patient data is de-identified and that written informed consent has been obtained whenever clinical images, personal details, or identifiable case information is included. For studies involving human subjects, animals, or sensitive data, authors must confirm compliance with institutional ethics committee approvals and relevant national or international guidelines.
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are evaluated through a rigorous peer-review process managed by experts in the relevant field. The review aims to assess clarity, scientific merit, methodology, technical accuracy, and the contribution the manuscript makes to the medical field. Reviewers may request revisions, clarifications, or additional analysis. Authors are expected to respond to reviewer comments politely and thoroughly, ensuring that all changes are clearly addressed. The typical review duration ranges from two to four weeks, depending on the complexity of the subject and reviewer availability.
Upon acceptance, all manuscripts undergo professional editing, formatting, and production to ensure they meet the journal’s publication standards. Each published article is assigned a DOI and included in the journal’s indexing and abstracting databases, ensuring global visibility and long-term preservation. Because the Mega Journal of Medicine is an open-access journal, all published articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription restrictions. Authors should be aware that accepted manuscripts are subject to an article processing charge, which helps support editorial management, peer review, digital archiving, and open-access dissemination.
The journal encourages authors to submit research articles, reviews, systematic analyses, clinical studies, short communications, brief reports, editorials, and commentaries. Regardless of the article type, submissions should be written with accuracy, clarity, and a focus on advancing medical understanding. Authors are advised to structure their manuscripts in a logical sequence, ensure proper citation of all referenced material, and follow the Vancouver referencing style. Only credible, peer-reviewed sources should be cited, and reference formatting must be consistent throughout the manuscript.
Figures and tables should be labeled clearly, accompanied by descriptive legends, and submitted in high-quality resolution suitable for publication. Any reproduced material from previously published work must be accompanied by written permission from the copyright holder. In cases where multiple authors contribute to a study, the corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all contributors approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission to the journal.
Once the galley proofs are prepared, they will be shared with the corresponding author for review. Proofs must be carefully checked for accuracy in text, figures, tables, and references. Any corrections should be returned promptly so the publication process is not delayed. Failure to respond within the indicated timeframe may result in publication as-is.
The Mega Journal of Medicine remains committed to assisting authors at every stage of submission. Researchers who require help with formatting, ethics documentation, or clarifying article types may contact the editorial office for guidance. The journal strives to make the submission process smooth, transparent, and supportive, ensuring that each manuscript receives fair and professional evaluation. By submitting to MJM, authors become part of a global scientific community dedicated to improving healthcare through reliable research and meaningful clinical communication.
